
EU2SE – European Upskilling of Students for Sustainable Entrepreneurship – is funded by the Erasmus+ programme (KA220 – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education). Coordinated by University of Caen Normandy, the project brings together four AcrossEU partner universities to promote sustainable entrepreneurship among students.

Running from September 2024 to August 2026, EU2SE aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills and international perspective needed to develop innovative and sustainable business initiatives. The goal is to create a European network of academics, students and regional stakeholders engaged in sustainable entrepreneurship.
Project objectives :
- Build a European network of academics working on sustainable entrepreneurship.
- Develop a six-week virtual training programme dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship in Europe.
- Organise two international Entrepreneurship Weeks, where students collaborate on innovative project ideas.
- Strengthen cooperation with regional economic stakeholders, including companies, chambers of commerce and development agencies.
Activities and learning experience
Each year, 10 selected students from the partner universities participate in a blended learning programme combining:
- online training modules,
- collaborative international teamwork,
- meetings with entrepreneurs and economic actors,
- and an international entrepreneurship week hosted by a partner university.
The first Entrepreneurship Week took place in May 2025 in Skopje, hosted by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. The second edition is in May 2026 in Caen, hosted by University of Caen Normandy.
